Ye Olde Nags Head

The food was excellent, and the breakfast was included. Staff was polite and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel was right on a corner of a main road, so it sometimes got noisy at night time till 11 ish. Im a light sleeper, which is a little frustrating when you're trying to sleep. You could hear other guests in their rooms going to the bathroom. There wasn't an actual shower room, only a bath with a shower head to wash with. However, castleton has several different places to visit and has several pubs close by that serve food and snacks.

Nice big room, breakfast was excellent

Our room was to the front of the building on the road, it's a quiet small village and appears to be off the beaten track, but there was vehicles going past all through the night, literally every hour which was surprising. That said would stay again, would request a room to the rear though.

Great location for a 2 day meet up with a friend to hike. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Room was fairly basic but clean and we had everything we needed. The pub offered a really good breakfast which was included and the evening meal we had there was delicious.

There was limited parking meaning we had to park elsewhere when we arrived and then move the cars at the end of the day.

The location is good. The staffs are friendly. We had a good time

The Bed was uncomfortable, the sofa bed was not big enough for 2 people, one child had to sleep on the floor.

Nice pub , in village centre, good breakfast and car park

Piped music was too load particularly at breakfast
