The Pegwell Bay Hotel

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Good location next to two pubs and 20 mins walk to Ramsgate Parking spaces were plenty and felt secure with cameras. Breakfast was also great. Nice touch in rooms with free tea, coffee and biscuits.

Hotel is dated but very comfortable. We were in Room 001 wheelchair access bathroom although I only use a walker. The bathroom was nice and big. You could see a bit of the bay from our room being on the ground floor which was nice. The breakfast was fantastic and tasty.

The shower in the bathroom needs urgent attention with the shower rose being broken, we were only aware of it late in our stay but managed to have a shower of sorts with water just gushing out the top and I forgot to tell the lass on the desk as we were leaving, so my apologies for that.

As always we were given a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was good value for money. We had a lovely meal in the hotel pub restaurant and breakfast was great.

The place was pristine and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was brilliant and the attached restaurant across the road served lovely food. A particular mention to restaurant manager Ranata who was super friendly and helpful. Both breakfast room and restaurant had great views. It was easy to walk I to Ramsgate. The lifts worked well.

It’s a shame it was built with the bedrooms facing the side of the bay and not the full sea, seems bizarre. And that the layout of our room had our bed looking out to houses instead of the bay. A simple switch around would make more sense. The reception staff could have been friendlier but they were ok.

Staff efficient and helpful . Room was clean and quiet. Lovely biscuits for tea and coffee in the room.

Room was small and quite claustrophobic. There was a suitcase rack in the wardrobe but with all the furniture and a small room there was nowhere to put it up. No comfortable lounge area, just the foyer. Lack of fresh fruit berries etc apart from melon for breakfast. Only fruit yogurts available no natural Greek. Croissants were cold.

A nice peaceful location with a room looking out over the bay. The room was clean & comfortable with an excellent breakfast of either cooked or continental.

Location was wonderful, quiet and on the water. The restaurant was a wonderful surprise. Our dinner was very good.
