Normandy Hotel (Near Glasgow Airport)

Clean and friendly.

My bed was not the best, mattress needed replaced. Sagging.

All was good apart from the bed and pillow. Very hard.

Boxing event on at the Hotel same night as my stay, trouble outside the window, Police in attendance after a while but nothing was stopped, no security to be seen, car music blaring and engines revving obnoxiously all night, music blaring from surrounding rooms till 3-4am, only up side was leaving for work at 7am next morning

The chap at reception was very helpful and chatty and booked taxi for us. Room was suitable for our needs and it had a bath.

The breakfast was the worst cooked breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, 'cooked' to order as it was quiet. The bacon, lorne sausage, black pudding were dripping on oil. Luckily i asked for a poached egg so i had that with the beans, link sausage and toast. The continental selection was minimal.

Friendly staff, good food, parking, convenient location, room comfortable and modern

Looks a bit dated from the outside but it’s nice and modern inside
