Normandy Hotel (Near Glasgow Airport)

Room was in a terrible state .dirty with carpet coming loose .headboard all damaged and skirting boards off wall with electrical wires exposed.toilet door was insecure and didn't close .some lights In room did not work and I was scared to plug TV in .a disgrace that I was charged nearly 100 pounds to stay and I have bites on my legs after stay .

Although I was a lone traveller. Very nice and clean double room. Comfortable bed. Booked my stay late at night for the same night sray at just under £100.00 Saturday to Sunday.

Phone signal was none. I'm with EE. Was struggling to find wifi password. Went back down to the front desk to be told that you just log on via your email. Simple but didn't realise this and was looking for instructions in the room. Can get quite noisy due to airplanes just by the hotel.

Remember the Normandy of old as being first class but so many other establishments I have returned to have fallen in standards over the years. The Normandy is still up there.

Ensuite bath was tiny and enquires in general a bit dated and in need of refurb.

Value for money friendly helpful staff clean rooms comfy beds good location would definitely stay again and recommend 👌 Had dinner 2 nights food delicious 😋

Plenty off choice for breakfast but it wasn't very warm, you can ask for it to be heated as there's a micro in the kitchen. But to be honest I'd prefer the microwave near the food dinner was hot and delicious.

The food served in the evening was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. Reception area, bar, bedroom and dining room we're all spotless. Ample parking space.

The room we were originally allocated, in error, looked exceedingly tired and in need of refurbishment. However the room we got was perfect with no complaints.
