Air conditioning in rooms required due to heat waves experianced during travel

The hotel room had black mold on the curtains and window. Holes in wall with residue on skirting board showing it hadn’t been cleaned Toilet was black and discoloured Cups hadn’t been cleaned properly and had old coffee around the rims Tea spoons not cleaned properly Tray not cleaned properly Smelt of mold The cleaning team need to be trained how to clean, not only for comfort but health and safety

That the manager tried to find me a room elsewhere

That 3 hours before I was due to arrive they cancelled the booking as booking.com overbooked so not only did I have to pay to stay elsewhere they are also delaying communicating with booking.com so that I can be refunded the money I paid to stay in this hotel when it was fully booked they blamed booking.com but the lack of communication shows poor leadership skills and absolutely disgusting customer service skills

Room a bit too warm

We paid £46 for the night. Had never stayed in a Marstons "hotel" before. The room was excellent and very much Premier Inn and Travelodge design and standard - so we were absolutely chuffed. Plenty of car parking. Pub food was very good. Would happily stay there again.

The bathroom was a little "tired". The extractor fan ( room 36 ) was clogged with lumps of dust. The tap on the bath had a know missing leaving a sharp bit missing. A complaint I have of all hotels...............WHY can't you leave instructions on how to work the shower....eventually I worked it out !.
