Everything, the location, the people, the quietness. Hotel I know since 10 years, always a pleasure.

Need a car to reach the location. S-bhan station not far anyway. Restaurant closed Mon and Tue. Only one alternative in Turkenfeld.

Very simple ,basic but clean room, friendly stuff

It was pretty cold in the room when I came , the heating was completely off, I couldn’t take shower after I came , was uncomfortable to be in such a cold room, breakfast were poor , very basic

The breakfast was amazing. The were a lots of juice, cheese, bakery stuffs. The room was very clean.

The bed was too short

This is a charming hotel, very popular with locals for special events. We enjoyed our stay very much!! We were concerned about traffic noise, as our room faced the street. This is no problem, as the window is triple glass, and walls are soundproof. Also, a room darkening outer shade is available. The daily breakfast buffet is very generous, with many items available, including fruit, cereal, yoghurt and an assortment of meats, cheeses, and rolls. Fresh coffee is also included, as well as cappucino. This hotel is a gem, and very convenient to Ammersee surroundings, and to Munich by car or local train.

Parking may be a challenge when the Hotel has an entertainment event....usually Friday or Saturday night.

Even if we did not have lunch or dinner it seems they have a good, large restaurant for various events. The design of the restaurant is nice and the family who runs it seems very much involved. The room was specious with 3 beds as we needed. simple but comfortable room.

Well it’s not big things we did not like but I guess it was not the best option for our family with small kids. We had a room on the 2nd floor with no elevator in the building which was not convenient when we had to carry the luggage and kids in our arms 2 floors up and down. Breakfast was fine but very simple and not too many choices. In the neighborhood it’s not much to see/ do, we actually went by car to the lake, Landberg am See and to visit a friend living 25 km away. This place was the only one coming close to what we needed so we could visit my friend. not many options left available for New Year’s Eve in that area.

If you don't mind a little drive to get to Munich in the morning (40 km away), that's the perfect countryside hotel. Cheap (compared with what they offer in town during the Oktoberfest) but clean and comfortable. Spacious, warm and quiet room with no problem for parking. The Restaurant downstairs does also provide excellent food.

Unfortunately the Restaurant is closed a few days a week :( Also the place could do with more English speaking personnel (although everybody was nice and friendly and it was quite funny to try a conversation).
