Hotel Garni Traube

The pre-arrival communication from the owner was excellent. Area around the hotel does lack places to eat, however after texting the owner we were given instructions on how to use our complimentary bus tickets to the town/lake area. Which made for a good night. The breakfast within the hotel was very good.

Possibly a reception person to offer a bar facility upon arrival.

We loved living the hotel the next day…

The welcome is anything but warm. Our host's English is pitiful, and as for the room, let me warn you: the noise from the street is deafening. There's a roundabout right next to the hotel. The constant flow of cars, buses, and trucks is relentless. The worst establishment I've ever had the misfortune of staying in. Move on… A big thank you, however, to Booking, who understood how wrong the owner was and refunded me.

The rooms were very clean.

The hotel is situated on a busy road. There was a lot of noise from the street. The rooms are not equipped with fans or AC. It was very hot. Also, it was not apparent from the room description that we, a couple, were booking a room with two single beds.
