The Inn At Grasmere & The Little Inn

The room was nice. Recepection staff were friendly as was morning and bar staff.

When we got your hotel there was no car parking spaces so we had to go to your sister one. Where we where told there was no spaces as they needed it for their visitors so that was the start. We had to be back for 4 to move our car and hope for a space. Which we did get eventually we got one. The toilet in the room you can see in and out. The fact we did not get our bed made even though the maid was in. The curtain pole fell off and we explained to her what happened. She started to shout out, she does not speak english. She was very rude. I tried to explain to her as best i could but she waved hers arms, shouted, and walked out. We have been coming to your hotel on numerous occassions for a few years now,as it been my partners birthday and we liked celebrating here. I did tell the recepection who were very aplogetic to us. But for lady to be that rude and not make the bed.This stay was very disappointing. This situation has made us question returning again unfortunately, Kevin & Jackie

Location and size and view from our room 5. Also the pool was good

The room especIlly the bathroom felt very tired. Cracks, lose loo seat, damp. Didnt live up to the cost or rating At breakfast it was cold first day gut better after that. However the woman serving literally asked us every minute if we were ready to order!

Room was to hot and unfortunately you could hear or neighbour going to the toilet and shower and I mean hear every drop and plop when I highlighted this to reception I was told it was an old building and so it seemed as if they thought it was matter of a fact but as ive had over 40 years in the building trade I no this is nonsense and there numerous solutions so that you don't have to listen to this sort off thing

Room was excellent’ staff are brilliant super friendly and helpful food was excellent especially breakfast. Hotel even has a dry room which was a godsend
