Oakham hotel

No breakfast offered, but that was ok. Bed very comfy.

Couldnt work out if I could put heating on or not. Discovered that the armchair had a broken leg.

Location

Bathroom dirty floor, no shelves to put your toiletries. On arrival the room was very hot, there was not remote for the TV and no Toilet Rolls at all, Which was rectified, but I shouldn’t have to ask. Turned off the plug in heater as it was very hot in the room it still didn’t help as the Radiator was on Full and unable to turn which made uncomfortable sleeping. Phoned the number provided left a message no response.

Great location for exploring Oakham town

No heating in bathroom. Only an electric oil heater in the room that cut off when leaving the room with the key card. Room clean but strong smell of drains. Only one key card so couldn't separately leave the room as unable to get back in the main entrance

Very clean and convenient for town.

Could not find a remote control for the TV and noone to ask

The location was good. There was a kettle in the room. Ensuite shower room.

This isn't a hotel it's a set of serviced rooms. We didn't see a member of staff as we got the key card out of the key press with a code we were emailed. The room was small, bed was basic, wardrobe tiny, nowhere to hang out wet coats, bathroom mirror was damaged, the seal on the shower tray damaged and stained, could hear conversations in the surrounding rooms and as people walked past outside. We paid hotel prices for a room that was worse than a Travelodge. No parking, had to pay extra for parking.
