The Z Hotel Bath

Interior is very nice

No window in the room was really a problem. Either sleep with the noise of the air con or be too warm. Either way I couldn’t sleep properly both nights

Room was clean & tidy with a good shower.

The staff, the location, the cleanliness

Jeg likte konseptet med kompakte rom, perfekt for meg som solo-reisende! Fantastisk seng, og elsket mulighetene for dimming av lys på rommet

Det var ikke helt den type frokost som jeg følte jeg ble presentert. Den var langt enklere enn slik den ble forklart, og ble servert i hotellets lobby. Hadde jeg visst dette hadde jeg heller vurdert frokost på en nærliggende kafé. Men supert med alternativ om enklere frokost for de som ønsker det og gjerne har dårligere med tid

The room seemed modern and everything worked as I expected.

The mattress on the bed was a little too firm.

The hotel itself felt modern yet welcoming, with plenty of friendly and well-organised staff. The check in went smoothly and the map and useful 'first time visitor' information was great. It had plenty of shopping, restaurants and tourist sights all within a few minutes walk. There's an arts cinema only 3 minutes away for example. The bar area felt welcoming - even for a solo female traveller, and the food looked great.

The location is amazing but there's no parking located nearby. I was very lucky to find a paid parking space for half an hour in a nearby dead end street, for checking in and taking my bags from the car to my room. Staff had suggested parking at Charlotte Street carpark, but I opted for Podium parking which was slightly less and closer to the river and my route home.
