Hotel was beautiful, great location 30 min walk to Llangollen. Room 4 we stayed in and this was clean, modern and the balcony was huge looking over the river. Parking was easy but over a very narrow bridge plenty of space though and secure. Breakfast was great we had Full English and Conental which was very tasty. I would recommend the place. Thanks for a Great stay!

Location and the great walks there abouts

The breakfast could have been better, I ordered a fried egg and received a poached of which the young man insisted it was fried, I pritty much know the difference. Also my wife received a poached egg that was not what it should be. So breakfast wasn’t a great experience.

The location is amazing . We stayed 3 nights at Easter and we were very lucky with the weather. We did walk to Llangollen ,the path next to the canal is lovely. We used the overflow parking above the hotel and lots of empty space. Breakfast was lovely ,nice cooked food and also good selection of cheese, fruit cereals. The view, sitting next to the window to the wild river . The staff was very nice and helpful. In the morning there was the surprise whistle of the steam train across from the train station. We loved it!

The only little thing ,the room was just a bit smaller than I thought and the single bed mattresses a little bit wobbly.

Restaurant had lots of meals sold out by the time we had are evening meal .Breakfast was very disorganised sat wating for ages to take order not enough staff

Uncomfortable beds, very small cooked breakfast.
