"Nice staff, good food, spectacular surroundings."

The location above the rapids on the Dee River, across from historic railway and road bridges and beside the chain bridge, is spectacular. The canal behind the hotel is also beautiful and offers interesting walks.

Fire alarm in the middle of the night; rooms too warm for comfortable sleeping.

"Superb location. Our fourth time here. Always leave very happy, refreshed & ready to deal with the big city."

They put a cooked breakfast back on the menu. Always been a great place to stay. A log fire in the hearth was a welcome treat in the lounge & a complementary late check out allowed us more time to pack

From the outside looking at the newer part of the hotel doesn’t do it many favours but from inside looking out it’s amazing
