The Bear Inn

Location was great. Staff and food on site was lovely.

The bedroom is "on a wonk" and the mattress felt like it was 2 inch's thick. Very difficult to get comfortable at night.

Strong heritage with the age of the Inn. Freedom to come and go throughout the duration of the stay, even at night time. The staff were lovely, very welcoming! The location was stunning both the countryside and the village - the car park across the way was secure enough to lock up 5 motorbikes worth over £50k with absolutely no bother too!

The furnishing was a bit dated with a few things broken, but the general age and look did fit the inn well - it would probably look unusual with brand new modern furnishings.

The place was very pleasant but a little dated, although clean it looked shabby and the shower toilet room was very small and the shower requires a refresh. The staff and surroundings were wonderful, I travelled with friends on a Motor Bike Rally, but unfortunately no parking, no breakfast, the bar closed at 9:30pm.

The steps are a bit tricky up to the attic room which we weren’t prepared for and we’re pleased we were as fit as we are !
