The sea view, the comedic and very positive reception staff. The general courteousness.

The seclusion and quietness. You’re close to the beach listening to the never ending waves. Tranquil. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Can’t say I found anything negative.

Absolutely wonderful. This was a gem discovery for us. A very special place with really lovely staff. Would definitely return.

Quiet location on the beach. Sheltered long beach which made it very comfortable for swimming and also allowed a decent walk/run off just over 1km for the return trip along the sand. The sand was cleared of seaweed each morning by the staff. Hotel was relatively small: less than 10 couples were staying there. Very good food offerings. Ambience was perfect. Parking was adjacent to the property. Owner lived onsite and mingled with the guests. We enjoyed our four nights there.

Not all rooms had air conditioning (including ours), which made sleeping a bit difficult on warm, muggy nights in spite of a fan. There was no supermarket or other facilities that were nearby: so guests were totally dependent on the hotel for food and drink unless they had a car: and even then it was about a 30 minute drive each way on narrow, poorly maintained roads.

We were lucky enough tip visit while the owners were on the premises. They are always present to making sure the guests attended to and that their staff is happy doing their jobs. It really shows that LaSagesse is the relaxing, comfortable place to vacation. The owners generally take a morning walk and are happy to include guests. We learned the history of the area and visited locations that we would never have found on our own. Finally, the food is generally simple and tasty. In my mind, that generally makes for a great meal. Breakfast lunch and dinner. You should especially try the catch of the day, always delicious 😋.

We had a bit of rain, but that is what we get for going in November. Can't blame the hotel.
