Hotel New Star

Super lovely Hotel right next to the castle. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and also helped us organize a trip to Vardzia with their driver Max. If you’re staying at this hotel, definitely do the tour to Vardzia with Max, it was a highlight on our trip to Georgia. He knows all the best spots along the way to take photos, so you should do the tour with him even if you have your own rental car, it’s more than worth it

The place is clean, good lightening, super friendly guests almost like a family. Location is the best as it right infront of the fort. We had a great conversation over the dinner.

Bathroom could have been bit bigger.

Perfect hotel owned by a very hospitable and friendly couple who greeted me with pastries and coffee upon arrival (and in the morning when I departed) and went out of their way to be helpful in every possible way. The room was very comfortable and felt spacious for its size. I wish I could have stayed longer!

- warm welcoming from our hosts: with tea and good pastries from the bakery just below the hotel. - great advice on the area: they give us great advice on how to organize our stay in the region, and introduce us to their friend Max, our driver to Vardzia. Beautiful rooms with bathroom. In a quiet location with a view of the fortress. Helpful staff.

I liked everything. the staff is super friendly, the hotel is clean, the beds are very comfortable, the hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the castle.

There was nothing like that

The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially the lady. The accommodation is simple with a lovely balcony, located right by the castle. Be prepared that the shower is not separated in the bathroom, so the whole floor gets wet.
