Edelweiss Hotel

Frankly nothing, except for the view.

The entrance is sloppy and terrible. Slush all over, shoes will sink in. Steep downward steps to the reception, dirty and muddy with footfalls. Stinky rooms and the commode was full of stains. Just one light was working which made the atmosphere even more dingy. Most uncomfortable beds. No elevators for going on to higher floors (or even to the reception). Indifferent staff. The main doors are see through from the sides (a huge gap between the door frame and the sides). All of these applicable to both the rooms that we had. Please avoid.

Location was good.

Many things disappointed us, especially no lift and and we had to carry our bags to 5 floors. No one to support or carry bags.

Stunning views of the mountains and snow. Quick walk to the ski lifts. Close enough to town to pick up groceries, but far away enough to be out of the hustle and bustle.

The bathroom smelled mouldy and the toilet was leaking.
