Hotel Thireas

The location was super good: amazing view, close to the bus station, to the center of Fira and quite easy to reach (strolling our luggage was not too hard, comparing to other places in Fira) The staff eas amazingly nice, I do not understand the negative reviwes I read, they were all polite, nice and helpful. For those trying to decide between Oia and Fira: go for Fira, it is a lot better vs the overrated Oia, unless you are looking for luxury.

There were only minor inconveniences that did not affect the experience, but it is good for you to know in case you stay there: the room by the pool has a bit low ceiling, the porch is not private (other guests can stay there) and the windows do not open (you need to either keep the door open or the AC)

Really beautiful view from the balconies - to the whole Fira and also the far Oía. We went in April and it was quite cold so didn't make the use of the pool but enjoyed the Jacuzzi (had to ask to increase the temperature and then it was awesome). A bit cold to eat breakfast out on the balcony in April but the silence (no tourists around) was amazing. We had the junior suite, it was all modern and clean, not too big though. Breakfast same every day served in the room. The staff was very nice, helped us with luggage up the stairs to our car/taxi.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Thireas. Location was perfect! We booked a room with a hot tub and amazing view that we would highly recommend. Ending each day with a relaxing dip in the pool was a great way to cool down and reenergize before drinks and dinner. The hotel was clean and quiet. Perfect for a romantic stay in Santorini. Vanessa and the rest of the staff were friendly and always there to help with excursions, taxis and general information. Breakfast on the balcony each morning was a great way to start the day. If you are staying in Fira, you should definitely consider Hotel Thireas.

Brilliant location right in the heart of Fira- literally 2 or 3 min walk. Views from the terrace were outstanding.

Wifi didn’t work in our room. Worked well in main reception & terrace area though.

The View is spetacular, located in the core of Fira. Very good breakfast served outside to enjoy the view of the Caldera. Employees (Vanessa) outstanding!!

Instructions of how to get there, where to park, could be more complete on the website, we had difficulty finding the hotel and parking nearby (but it is easy, we just did not know)

The apartment is in an excelent location with balconies facing the caldera and the sunset. Also the jacuzzi improves the experience. Even though it has some stairs to reach the hotel the staff helps with the luggage and are ready to help you to book transfers to/from airport/port. The breakfast is well served and delivered every morning in the bedroom.

The bathroom needs some renovation, extractor also not working making it a bit mouldy.

Everything was amazing, delicious breakfast, unbelievable view from the balcony and friendly staff, everyone was so helpful.

The location is perfect for walking, shopping and dining as well as pick ups for excursions and to the ferry port.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly. Vanessa was very welcoming. She’s like our new friend in Greece. She set up excursions for us. Everything went smoothly every day. Each day we would confirm our breakfast delivery with her. She was spot on.

Premier Double Room with Caldera View has its view and patio opening onto a communal veranda so not private. Out of season when I went but something to bear in mind otherwise Breakfast from 8:30 which will not be a problem for most people
