The position of the hotel, coffee in the morning, kind staff.

The furniture looks like it definitely had its best times a decade ago. Otherwise good. 👍

It took more than 5 min to get the hot eater running at the shower

- Istra Hotel is located right in the centre of Varazdin, so it's very close to everything. The staff was friendly. - The bed was comfortable. There was also a fridge and kettle with some tea and coffee. - Wi-fi was free with no need for password across the hotel. - Breakfast was very simple: coffee, tea, juice, water, yogurt, fruit, butter, cheese, ham, bread, and some type of pastry. Despite the lack of great variety, it was good in general.

- It was usually hard to find someone from the staff. - The room could use some renovations, you can tell the furniture and bathroom are old. Additionally, it was in the last floor which was a sort of attic, so it did not have a lot of natural light, just a small window in the pitched roof. - We had to pay additionally 3€ per person per day for breakfast. There wasn't a lot of variety.

The location of the hotel is a minute walk from the main city square. The check-in process was easy and the staff were friendly.

There were no "hot" water, only lukewarm. The AC didn't work, and the overall feel of the room is that it's very dated.

Excellent overall. Let me check in early after just wanting a bag drop, helpful staff throughout, massive room with a bath in it. Great WiFi. Faultless.

Nothing. And a real 4****place unlike KlausK in Helsinki which is a dreadful place.
