The food was really good and the location as well ! Laundry service is really good, transfer is smooth and the trek was well organised.

Really basic accomodation and no hot water

Come as friend, leave as family. Das Motto hier ist daily business. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und offen. Das Essen ist hervorragend und frisch. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön mit einem tollen Blick auf den Fluss und den Dschungel. Das Dschungeltrekking war das Highlight unserer dreiwöchigen Indonesienreise. Es wurde perfekt organisiert und die Guides waren absolute Profis! Top Empfehlung! Die Lage ist zwar sehr abgelegen, 3-4h Fahrt von Medan, aber nur so hat man das totale Dschungelfeeling.

Das Bett war ziemlich hart und es gab leider nur ein "Tuch" als Bettdecke, was bei der Klimaanlage ziemlich kalt war. Aber nichts, was die 10-Sterne-Bewertung oder die Empfehlung hier zu übernachten mindern könnte!

El personal increíble. Nos facilitaron nuestra estancia a todos los niveles. La habitación muy limpia, cómoda y bonita. Tiene unas vistas espectaculares. Se respira mucha paz y tranquilidad, alejado del ruido, solo naturaleza. Especial mención a nuestros guías por la jungla Anton y Rido. Fueron excelentes, nos sentimos muy cómodos y su trabajo hizo que la aventura fuera inolvidable.

Best riverfront patio for food in Bukit Lawang. Great spot to go in the river for a swim. Excellent staff who are friendly and detail oriented. Easy to book tours and rides back to the city. Prices are all overtly stated; no surprises later. Great food in the dining area (both Indonesian and western). Giant glass water dispenser in room with days and days of clean drinking water.

I liked everything. But I imagine some people would not like certain aspects like no AC, ants building homes in the room each night, no daily housekeeping, not much warm water in shower.

Good location for jungle track and realy good service from the employees. We arrived and we got a warm welcome with hot home made jungle tea. Everything was arranged for us, from airport pick up to jungle tour. The room was hot sometimes but with some ventilation its no problem.

One day we woke up with small bugs in our bed. Luckily the staff was so friendly that they changed our sheets immediately. Afterwards we had no problem.

Het hotel ligt prachtig naast de rivier in Bukit Lawang. Bij binnenkomst kregen we direct een welkomstdrankje. De menukaart van het restaurant is erg uitgebreid (ook veel lekkere Westerse opties die je niet snel in Bukit Lawang vindt). Verder was er een heerlijke warme douche. Ook dat is iets wat we erg op prijs stelden aan deze plek.
