Grecotel LUXME Oasis at Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations created by the hotel’s presentation, category, and price. We travelled as a family with three young children and would recommend the hotel to families only with caution. The biggest disappointment was the overall condition of the resort. The pools and children’s water areas showed clear signs of insufficient maintenance, including damaged and missing tiles, cracks, deteriorating pool edges and worn surfaces. The resort appears significantly older than the impression given by its promotional materials. The layout of the resort is also challenging for families with small children. There are many stairs, steep paths and significant elevation changes throughout the property. Families with strollers should take this into consideration. We also noticed several safety concerns, including damaged railings and other maintenance issues that should not be present in a resort of this category. The first baby cot provided for our infant was heavily worn and had to be replaced. The all-inclusive offering was rather limited compared to other resorts in a similar price range. Food selection was repetitive and lacked variety. Daily entertainment and activities were minimal, especially considering that we visited shortly before the high season. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and housekeeping standards were good. The children’s club staff also appeared friendly and professional. Overall, the resort did not meet our expectations of a five-star property. In our opinion, it is closer to a good three plus-star resort than a true five-star experience.

We have been visiting Oasis Grecotel in Kyllini almost every summer with our children since they were 4 years old (they are teenagers now!), and the experience is always pleasant and memorable.What keeps bringing us back year after year is not only the beautiful setting, but most importantly the people. The staff is always welcoming and genuinely kind, no matter where we spend our time around the resort. This year, we would especially like to thank Thodoris at the bar, who always took great care of us and our friends after dinner, making our evenings even more enjoyable. We would also like to mention Nikos at the pool, who, despite the very hot weather, always served us drinks with a genuine smile and positive attitude. A big thank you also to the housekeeping team, who made sure our room was always spotless and had everything we needed. The lifeguards at the Aqua Park also did a fantastic job, making sure we felt safe while still having fun. The staff at the restaurants and the mini-van service were also consistently welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, we do not know the names of everyone who helped make our stay so special, but we truly hope the management recognizes and takes good care of these people, because they are the ones who create the experience and make guests want to come back year after year.
