The Mandana Villa Gili Air

La villa con piscina privada era muy bonita y acogedora, el baño es exterior en la zona del patio con piscina. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. Cama muy cómoda. La ubicacion es excelente al estar en una de las calles principales asfaltada y en el centro de la isla.

No merece la pena pagar por una villa de piscina privada de escasas dimensiones a la que no le da absolutamente nada de sol en todo el día y el agua esta fría.

We had an amazing one night stay at The Mandana. The staff were so helpful and the place was beautiful. The pool is amazing and we’re sad we weren’t able to stay longer. Definitely recommend!

The property was very central in location being in the middle of the island. We were able to get the large room over the reception desk and it was very private. There is a lovely outdoor sitting area. The other room offered was right on the main road. The staff Wayu was amazing and looked after us well. He made us delicious breakfast daily. There was no menu you get what you get but it was very generous portion of eggs cooked in various ways on toast with veggies. Pancakes, fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee. We had the pool to ourselves as I don’t think anyone else was staying there at the time.

It is very close to the mosque so the prayers are very loud. The neighbours are burning in close proximity so can be smoky outside the room.

Great location. Super friendly staff. I didn’t want to leave to go back home. The other reviews nail it on the head.

Bring something to stop the noise from the mosque. It is incredibly loud some mornings then other mornings it’s quiet enough not to hear it with ear buds in.

The decor is just gorgeous so you feel like you’re in a beautiful five star resort. The bed and pillows were comfy and air con was good. The best part about this villa is the outdoor area. We had stayed at a busier resort elsewhere on the island and just wanted a quiet, private space to lounge and this was perfect. The outdoor fan kept all of the mosquitoes away. The pool is amazing and staff and breakfast were exceptional. The central location is perfect - you can get anywhere on the island in a few minutes walk or bike. The call to prayer is definitely louder in the centre of the island but we found that it rarely woke us up. If we happened to be awake at that time, we found it only added to our experience here. Highly recommend The Mandana.

Very minor - the power went off one night but the staff were extremely apologetic and made efforts to resolve it quickly. I think this happens on the island sometimes.

Fantastic stay. Our space was simply beautiful, well designed and so comfortable. Even though Mandana Villa is not on the beachfront, this is not an issue bcs it takes one around 10 mins walk to the water, which is a great way to see a little of the island. The island itself is magic, so special. We would like to make a special note of appreciation to the owner Jose-David a very nice guy, the property Manager Masnun who was always there with advice and particularly Wahyu, a lovely gentle guy who looks after everything from breakfasts to our room. Thank you again for everything Wahyu.
