"Best stay on Gili Air"

The Mandana has an excellent location, it’s on easy walking reach from the harbor and short walk to the beach. Fantastic room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff and owner.

During 3 nights stay, there was no disadvantages found.

Everything was fantastic. The staff were attentive - nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for getting out by bike or foot to explore other areas of the island and easy to find on arrival. The villa is beautiful and feels very private. The bed is comfortable, the facilities are excellent and the trip was made by those working at the villa.

My only suggestion would be to put a hairdryer in the room for guests who have not travelled with one. But i can't and won't fault the place.

The staff were super helpful and lovely to deal with. The breakfast is excellent.

We paid for the room with the plunge pool however it turned out that the jets in that pool could not be used at the same time as the main pool (an electrical issue apparently). This meant we couldn't use the plunge pool in our room because it was stale water, attracting mosquitos etc. We weren't offered any discount for this. I would not recommend choosing this room. The room is significantly more dated than shown by the photos.
