Shivaji Inn Kaziranga

The food was incredible, the bed was comfortable, and customer service was excellent. As a foreigner, I had a lot of logistical questions about safaris. I was able to book them all through them and the jeeps came straight to the hotel. It was wonderful, and I will be recommending the hotel to others. The home-cooked food was one of my favorite parts. Everything I ate was delicious. The location is also excellent. It is very close to the Kohora safari as well as the Western safari.

The only complaint I have is that I wish breakfast started a bit earlier so that I could have had time to eat slowly and drink tea. It usually starts at 7:15 and was very rushed. That being said, I believe some people did request and receive earlier meals. I didn't and just gave up on tea the second day because there was no time.

Location is good (near to Kohora Gate) - Rooms are spacious. But cleanliness and maintenance of property is poor. Staff response is good, but they need training to work in hospitality industry. I Appreciate the help by owner in arranging cake and packed breakfast. Major observations:- - Toilet seat broken (pic attached) - No toilet rolls - Bathroom dirty - No wiper in bathrooms - Garbage outside window (pic attached) - Old and dirty towels (pic attached) - Old and dirty footmats (pic attached) - Cobwebs in rooms and bathroom

Good location, very near to Kaziranga Jungle & Zip safari point

Only front facing deluxe rooms are good. Other category rooms are not up to the mark. Hotel always try to provide back side rooms.

Very neat and clean property. Professional staff. Excellent location.

Restaurant is under-staffed.

Location, room hygiene, breakfast and staff behaviour

Staff were not readily availble, specially there was no one to attend us at the reception when we arrived for check in. Also there was no gyieser in the bathroom.
