Shivaji Inn Kaziranga

The location is nice, rooms are clean . Staffs are cordial, but they are a bit inexperienced. Food options are limited, and they don't provide breakfast at the time of morning safari. So one has to arrange it from outside. Otherwise the stay is pleasant .

There is no proper table inside the room. If you want to keep your camera, big lens, or laptops somewhere,you have to keep them on your bed. We r traveling with our kids , so we r carrying some containers of dry foods or some bowls or plates of him, but there is no proper place to keep them as there is no table. Breakfast starts at 8 am and morning safari timing is 7:30 am , so before safari you have to have your Breakfast from outside.

The place is clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Well-equipped. Wi-fi was an issue, but might have been a general network problem of the service provider at the time. It's right near a small market but secluded as well. And also pretty near to the Kohora park range. The location is ideal.

I would have liked a better dining arrangement had I been on the trip with a smaller group. Ideal for a trip with older family members though.

Well just that the staff could be more proactive..otherwise they are ok mostly..

Location of the hotel is very good it is on the way to jeep safari as well as near to good restaurants.

The food was of average quality.

Room size is good. Room inside cleanliness is okay.

Toilets unclean, no exhaust fan, service very poor, even not provided a water bottle in the room. There was no glass or cup in the room to drink some water. Even soap was provided after request. Food quality was also very poor. There is no intercom. You have to go downstairs to call the hotel boy. Even they don’t have computer ink to give print of hotel bills. Bill was made in excel sheet . Went outside to get print out. Owner was not ready to take any negative feedback. Said nobody complains , so according to him everything is okay.

The ambience and the behaviour of the staff Owner is very friendly.Highly recommend
