Shivaji Inn Kaziranga

Expectations have to be clear about this hotel. If the expectation is of 5 star facilities at these prices..... Then this is not the place for you. But if you wish for a heartwarming, peaceful, quiet, romantic and slow holiday - then I don't think there is a better place for you in Kaziranga. The location is absolutely brilliant, the views serene and the staff quite extraordinarily helpful and kind. They really DO go way beyond expectations in trying to fulfill every need of yours. Special call out to Govind.... He is truly a gem. The icing on the cake were the 3 - 4 indie dogs who faithfully accompanied us on all our walks - morning and evening - immediately embracing us as part of their pack. One of them even saw us off to the bus on the last day. Keep up the service Shivaji Inn.

The in-house made lunch / dinner could have been better in variety and in quality....but again... The standard aloo Paratha for breakfast was awesome. So this is after thinking extensively of what could be improved.

Location was good, near main highway. Very basic facilities. Good value for money.

Cordial staff

I have stayed at dozen of hotels in. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Overall, I had a great experience there, staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a weekend.

The breakfast was yummy and freshly prepared. Kudos to staff!

Spacious rooms, nice location. They arranged the elephant and the jeep safaris on our request. I left my shoes there but they couriered it to me the very next day without making any fuss.

Hotel is within 500m from Kohora Bus Stop. Rooms are very clean and Staffs were very cooperative and helpful. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

Since they're very active in addressing the concerns, hecne scope of dislike is very less.
