AULocation - isolated. Breakfast was not provided despite being advertised when I booked. Ownership had changed but I was not informed about this and the decision not to supply breakfast. The isolated position meant we had to go elsewhere for breakfast.
Management was not prepared for our arrival. We had to wait nearly two hours before we could access both rooms. We not offered refreshments while waiting. The isolated position and inclement weather and our weariness from travelling all day meant we had no option but to "sit and wait".

CASuch a cozy room and atmosphere. Gentle Trad music from the bar downstairs lulled me to sleep in my first night in Ireland. The food at the bar is truly incredible; great roast lamb and potatoes.
The location is very remote. There are only three buses that travel between The Saratoga and Waterford each day, at 8 AM, 12 PM, and 6 PM. Make sure you don't miss your morning alarm, or else have your own ride.

GBThe shower had good pressure and was a welcome site at the end of a long day. As were Barry's teabags and the Crawford current shortcake biscuits.
The TV was a good size ...but didn't work with the remote control in the room. Batteries were good, just the wrong remote for the TV. The room was very warm and the window had to stay on full tilt all night, but had no fly screens. There was no staff overnight and no breakfast available if I'd wanted it on site in the morning. Not a huge issue. Works were being carried out at the property so machine noise from 08:00 The room carpet had not been vacuumed or not sufficiently. Stain on the bed clothes (see image) Mattress was soft and provided no support but comfortable enough. The shower base needs a thorough clean around the edges. The hair dryer vent mesh needs blowing out to remove the lint. The room needs a 30 minute touch up paint around the hip height areas
