Galini Palace

This is my 2nd time at this hotel, and it just keeps getting better; We had originally booked another hotel through Charter, but had to escape it, as it was just... so awful. Galini Palace was there, however, to welcome us with warmth and care, and we have absolutely no regrets about our change of hotels. First and foremost, management and staff cannot go unmentioned! They are all so incredibly thoughtful, helpful, and impeccably service-minded, and you leave the hotel feeling as if you have made friends with them all. With special thanks to manager Andreas, Artemis in the reception, and much appreciation to all of staff (Shout-out to Svetlana!); Thank you so very much! Galini is a beautiful hotel with a very clean look from both outside and inside, and it has both relaxing pool areas and pool and activity areas for children. The rooms are nicely sized and turned diagonally towards the ocean, so despite not opting for a room closer to the ocean, we still had a beautiful view, and nothing really beats a cup of morning coffee on the balcony with a view of the ocean, does it? The bathroom was lovely and spacious, as well as incredibly clean! The shower was nice and big, and came with two different shower heads - can recommend for lovers of rainshowers! With two restaurants (One a la carte, one buffet-style), a pool bar, a primary bar, and a snack area, you will truly never go hungry at Galini! We only visited the buffet, but never once did we feel bored with the selection of food as they changed the dishes daily. Prepared with great care, the food always left us satisfied, and even the pickiest of eaters will leave this buffet full and happy! We opted for the "all inclusive"-package, and we truly do not regret it. This choice allowed us the neat option of a free bar - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with a lovely selection of different coloured cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks!

The frogs were in mating season. This is no fault of Galini Palace. This is entirely on the frogs, Mother Nature, and the frogs.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish — easy check-in, comfortable rooms, good Wi-Fi, tasty meals and helpful staff. It’s the kind of hotel where you don’t need to worry about anything; everything simply works as it should.

After a long flight we booked spa time at the resort’s wellness centre. The massage and sauna area were relaxing, the staff professional and friendly. It helped us switch off and enjoy our holiday right away.
