Galini Palace

The hotel is in a good location for day trips to Balos, Falassarna and Elafonissi. After returning from sightseeing, jumping into the pool felt great. Having both adventure and relaxation in one stay was exactly what we wanted.

Housekeeping did a great job every day. The room smelled fresh, towels were changed regularly, and everything looked polished. It’s clear that cleanliness is taken seriously here.

The resort is beautifully laid out with gardens, pools, a short walk to the beach and easy access to the town centre. Our room had a very comfortable bed, good air‑conditioning and a balcony. Would gladly return.

La vue et la propreté

L’eau des piscines était froide Chaque jours le ménage de la chambre était fait mais le lit jamais (on nous laissait les draps sur le rebord du lit) alors qu’on le faisait chaque maintenant pour finalement le retrouver défait le soir et juste plier au bord du lit ..

If you’re after somewhere peaceful with views and a bit of luxury, this fits the bill. Our terrace overlooked the side sea view and we had a glass of wine as the sun set. The staff made nice suggestions for local tavernas. Felt high quality without being pretentious.

We stayed with our children and found the resort amenities suited everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool, we enjoyed the spa and the beach nearby. The family room offered enough space, and the all‑inclusive meals meant less juggling around. Overall, no major issues and good value.

Given the standard of the hotel, the beachfront position, the amenities and the large pool area, we feel we got more than expected for the price. Would definitely choose this again for Crete.

Praticamente tutto bello Una struttura grande pulita ben organizzata Camere strepitose con possibilità di avere una piscina tutta per te o condivisa con poche altre camere Abbiamo mangiato bene e divertiti tanto grazie anche alla grande piscina fronte mare E che dire poi degli scivoli acquatici..strepitosi !!! Se volete tutto questo il Galini Palace è il posto giusto Buon divertimento

Niente da segnalare

One evening we asked about an excursion and the concierge gave us a map, marked interesting spots and arranged transport for us. On arrival the next day the driver was waiting as promised. Service like that added to the holiday feeling.

Rien. À part la mer devant l'hôtel qui est magnifique (mais transat payant)

Cet Hôtel est loin d'être un palace. Le personnel parle à peine l'anglais et n'est pas aimables. Les infrastructures ne sont pas dignes d'un 5 étoiles. La nourriture est répétitive et infect, on aurait dit un réfectoire, loin des mets chaleureux crétois. Une gois la femme de chambre a oublié les draps sales dans la chambre. Il n'y a aucune activité dans l'hôtel. Les transats à la plage qui faisaient parties de l'hôtel étaient payant (15euro par jour) ainsi que les serviettes pour la piscine (20euro le séjour) pour un 5 étoiles, il y a beaucoup d'extra. L'hôtel manque de finitions. Beaucoup d'endroits goudronné par manque, je pense de moyen. La television dans la chambre n'est pas connectée. Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel. J'ai déjà payé moins et eu mieux. C'est loin d'être un 5 étoiles même pour la Grèce.
