Grand Karlita Hotel Purwokerto

The Grand Karlita hotel is a 4-star hotel located in Purwokerto city - a small town of Central Jawa in Indonesia. The receptionist greeted us with friendly, welcoming smile. Concierge staff were polite but somewhat under manned. Most of the public areas are clean except the lounge area where smoking is allowed needs particular attention. There were Hand Sanitizers in the hotel public areas and banners alerting guests to wear masks inside the hotel and following health protocols. Hand washing facilities were provided at the side of the hotel entrance. Hotel room is of good size and spotless clean, Beds are comfortable. House Keeping staff are friendly and polite, they certainly reserve a credit on their services. Good size parking space but unpleasant smell towards the end of the parking area. Breakfast spread is acceptable. Food mainly cater for local people. Nothing exciting. The hotel has a swimming pool but no sunbed in the area. Overall, our 2-night stay was comfortable, we would stay in this hotel again in our next visit to Purwokerto.

My second visit in purwokerto, first time to stay overnight in Grand Karlita. Fantastic landscape view in 6th floor or above.. Breakfast menu is variative, but lacks of pastry. The staff is well kind to assist anytime. Overall is good.

For the price, it is amazingly clean. It has a huge pool and a children’s pool too. The breakfast buffet is everything you need for an introduction to local cuisine. Kudos to the chefs for an amazing preparation of gado gado, lontong etc. The dinner spread is good too, Chinese food prepared hot. Would not recommend the massage though, it’s in your room with a not so professional masseur and was cut short as I paid for 1.5 hours but got only 1 hour 10 mins.. but paid the full price. The staff are very friendly, speaks good English and welcoming

Grand Karlita Purwokerto..I stayed while New Year Eve...room quite big..friendly staff..awesome swimming pool with view of Mount Slamet.. But for food not really impressive..while new year eve the menu's nothing special..for breakfast also some item not quick for refill (like pastry empty and nobody add more bread)...at room not available hair dryer

we have stayed at this hotel, only for transit. hotel was clean, good services, and there was a basement parking area. i would say, it is recommended! only two things, first, our room was in smoking floor, it wasn't in accordance with our request before (via agoda.com). second, the swimming pool is rather dirty. four stars is given by me, again, recommended to stay at this hotel in Purwokerto (photo from 5th floor, view to andhang pangrenan)

Overall stay in this hotel is OK but not memorable. They need to improve total performance to be able to attract more guests. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Food is average and include in my suggestion as part of the hotel's performance to be improved.

This would be my first time stay at this hotel. Receptionist was so friendly Spacious bedroom. Breakfast : could be better Everytime we leave the room, AC will also turned off. When we enter the room, we need to turn it on
