Kacchapa Resort and Restaurant

The stay itself was good, the room was fine and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, I was charged extra at check-out for something that was clearly not my fault. Despite discussing the situation, I was still required to pay. It was disappointing because the staff were nice, but the management’s handling of the issue left a negative impression.

Bedroom would have benefited from mosquito net as there were lots of mosquitoes

Location and view right on the beach

We went there for my birthday but smy special arrangementd requested were forgotten. A large grou of ex pat mine workers came in that night and took over the resort playing loud music til late like they owned the place. I had a special birthday table set up (by my husband not the staff) but had to retreat into our room that night as the mine workers also brought all their children who screamed for 3 hours non stop. My birthday dinner was forgotten about and had to reorder 2 hours later. Not very memorable at all.

Beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere

Friday night def not family friendly, place turns into night club for expat miners, not suitable for family’s with young children. This only occurred on the Friday night though, rest of stay was pleasant.

Restaurant.. a lot of the food on the menu and juices they didn’t have.. and they ran out of Bintang..other than that the room was good and the staff..

The beach and view is wonderful. Food is good
