Palmtree Leaf, Munnar

The staff was very hospitable and the room clean with a great view on the Monnar mountains. Morning breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately the manager was not available during our stay and we had some minor language barrier.

The location is little difficult to reach, but is in excellent spot. Couple of additional Adventure activities hub is nearby to it. The place was clean and was cozy.

There were limited food Options, as the owner single handedly runs the place. For food you have to travel 600 to 700 meters.

The rooms are nice and the view from the room is mesmerizing. The hotel manager is a kind and humble man.

Mr Peter is a kind and very good man. He tried to take care of us in his possible means. Rooms are really nice and big with a good view.

It’s not a resort. No amenities of resort. It’s short staffed. No options in food. I wish they could keep a good spread for break fast and a fully functional kitchen.

Clean and cozy room with beautiful mountain view. Also very nice staff. One of my best hotel experiences in India.

The cleaning of glasses and water boiler should be better. No refrigerator in the room And, there was no well defined restaurant. You need contact a staff and go with him to the restaurant every time that you want eat something. It is a little annoying to be dependent on a person for each meal.

The breakfast was ok thought not great. The breakfast was complimentary with hotel charges, which doesn't even include a cup of tea. The location is ok. Small property on the hill with no great facility.

This hotel has worst hotel manager named Dinesh (if my memory is right). He doesn't know how to behave to the customers. This hotel comes with a small kitchen which primarily serves the breakfast with no choice for the customer. You are forced to eat what is given. If you want dinner then you need to notify the hotel manager 3-4 hours before otherwise it is upto you figure out what to eat. The price of food here is too much to the quality delivered. I asked this question to the hotel manager and he went wild stating that this is a resort and you shouldn't be talking to me like that. He started scolding me. I have the recordings with me but no option to upload here. Pathetic behaviour for asking a question to the hotel manager. They claim this to be a resort which doesn't even have a staff who maintains a little decency.

Good location and value for money. All Rooms are big and with mountain views

The Palmtree Leaf is located in a picture perfect setting. The property is neat, clean and well maintained. Walking into the room and opening that large sliding glass doors and looking out at the stunning view of the green hills and forests has to be the highlight of our stay. The room is spacious, well equipped and comfortable but the views the rooms offer is the highlight. The manager of the property was welcoming, helpful and made our stay a memorable one.

The property is located on a steep climb about a few hundred meters from the main road where there are restaurants, transport and other facilities however, it is possible to get a rickshaw back to the hotel and walking downhill is alright. There is also no food / restaurant facility available currently other than breakfast (which was enjoyable) but there are few restaurants nearby that will deliver. These are minor issues though and all considered, Palmtree Leaf is still excellent value and highly recommended.
