The Retreat is a charming family-run place with genuinely warm and welcoming hosts. We got great local tips and enjoyed meaningful conversations about Balinese culture. They also arranged rides to and from the city, which was very convenient. The food is absolutely delicious, definitely worth trying, even if it’s slightly higher priced. The rooms are cozy, the property is beautifully maintained with lush greenery and 2 pools. The location is peaceful and serene, yet the city center is only about 15 minutes away. We also used the laundry service, which was excellent and fairly priced.

Our stay at Ubad Retreat in Ubud was perfect. The room was cozy, the pool clean, and the garden wonderful. The staff are always available, generous, kind, and professional, especially our friend Sri, who pampered us the entire time. Thank you so much, and see you soon!

The staff are helpful and very kind (special attention to Sri and Nour), the meals are delicious and plentiful, the laundry is quick and very affordable, we booked a taxi and it arrived early even we left at 6.00am, we can really swim in the two swimming pools, we have amenities in the room (tea, coffee and bottles of water every day) and above all, the hotel is very quiet, which was very much appreciated in our case.
