VIA VARANASI - A Boutique Hotel at Assi Ghat

Location is fantastic, everything is at a walking distance. Food was good, staff is friendly.

Toilet seat broken, extremely small restroom, insects in the bathroom. Even after telling them the issue, it was not rectified.

We were 2 girls travelling to Kashi for the first time and had a good stay at the property! The hotel is 5min walk from Assi ghat and Kashi Vishwanath mandir is also a 10-15min rickshaw ride away. Overall can say it is pretty centrally located. You can easily find e-ricks right outside the hotel for your city tour. Staff is excellent!! They made our stay extremely comfortable, catered to all our requests with a smile on their face. They helped us navigate through the city, the auto walas can really charge and quote you exorbitant prices the staff made sure we knew the fare before hand to negotiate. We were to leave for Ayodhya early morning by 7.30am and Ajay made sure he packed our breakfast for the journey. Would recommend booking this stay if you are looking for a decent stay in close proximity of most places. P.S - do try their coffees!!

The hotel should seriously consider sound proofing their windows. The street below is extensive noisy 24/7 !! There is constant traffic noise , honking even in the hours as early as 4am!

Location is very good for activities, Ganga Aarthi, and with lot of food joints and shops around for all necessities.. Staff were super supportive and polite and prompt.. Took care of every issue or need I raised. Beds were comfortable even for a person with really bad back pain like me.

The 3rd floor room toilet had gutter smell, which they could not fix. I wanted a smoking room so moved to 5th Floor from next day. But due to being on main road and bang on Assi crossing, there was horn noise throughout day and even nights, which made it difficult to sleep at times despite being on top most floor..

Well designed rooms, courteous staff, on time laundry. Good food, clean linen

It is a really tastefully built place which makes the best use of the small space. The location is perfect, and the staff, good. The room is very clean and comfortable.

The fittings in the bathroom and electrical fittings in the room need replacement or repair at least. The food needs improvement too.
