Rhiz Guest House Tebet

If you have been to Jakarta, you would know that finding a peaceful, private accommodation in a relatively accessible area is difficult if you are on a budget. This accommodation exceeded my expectations and the moment I stepped inside from the road the accommodation with its calm courtyard and frangipani trees gave me a sense of peace and comfort. The room was spacious with a desk, refrigerator, closet, washroom a hot shower and the wifi worked great. The kitchenette on the ground floor was an added bonus. The staff were nice and friendly and always greeted with a smile and arranged for everything on request. It's a great little find just minutes walk from the Tebet station which is again a stop away from Manggarai that connects almost all important lines, including the Airport line. The area is great, friendly with the Alfa Midi convenient store right across the road , getting snacks and beverages 24x7 isnt a problem. The area also has great eateries and warkops hidden here and there to fulfil your daily search for food in the area. If I come back to jakarta I am surely staing here and this was a perfect find for me and hope this review will help you chose this stay !

Everything. Especially we can watch Netflix for free.

Too bad when we were there, they switched off the water heater for maintenance. There is no closet. And the charger plugs on the well are so inconvenient. One is under the table and the other is not accessible because it was covered by the small cabinet beside the bed. The pillow is a bit too hard.

Location and staff was friendly.

Facilities are not in top condition. Some smell was also bothering my stay.
