La Villa

Location, design, tranquility

We loved staying here, this beautiful old townhouse has been renovated to accommodate visitors in an exquisite way. Our room was on the top floor with a terrace wrapped around the whole room. The food was amazing, same goes for the breakfast and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. We loved every minute of our stay in this boutique hotel.

Only one thing and that's that other guests can access the terrace as well, which is not what people normally do I think, but as I just got out of the shower, and was drying up wrapped in a towel on the bed, another guest who I think wanted to admire the view from the top floor and walked around the room on the terrace. As our back entrance was open he looked inside to see the interior of the room before noticing me on the bed. If the hotel could make an extra door at the top of the stairs, nosey hotel guests can be avoided.

The location is fabulous, the facilities excellent, the people extremely helpful, and the food at the restaurant delicious.

I stayed in the room on the top floor, which even though it is the most beautiful, is not soundproof, so at 6 am, I was woken up by the noise of cars, which were two streets away.

The food whether for breakfast or at lunch was delectable to say the least. It made for a fulfilling experience especially for a non vegetarian like me.

Portions and spread are limited albeit delicious.

We had three lovely days at La Villa. Nice staff, nice room and fantastic food. Thank you for celebrating my husband's birthday. We will be happy to get back to you. Sofia

The cleanliness and maintenance is impeccable. You get what you see and the food is just lip smacking. The staff are also very well mannered and forthcoming. Had a memorable stay.

There wasn’t much to complain about at all.
