Alam Bali Beach Resort

Simple accomodation in central Amed. Nothing fancy but it has a nice pool to relax in the morning if you don't dive. I booked the rooms upstairs which was spacious and with a nice view. I think it was upgraded from the hotel, thank you.

The room was lovely with a nice view of the ocean. Fantastic location with great snorkeling in front of the hotel. I saw reef sharks, turtles and a load of other species. Great place to watch the sunset behind the mountain. Beds were comfortable and aircon worked well. Close to Rimba cafe which has great food. Nice and quiet.

A fridge in the room would have been good. Also something in the bathroom to put things on, a small cabinet or a shelf. The bathroom sometimes smelt a bit odd but after use it was ok, and I think that plumbing issues are common in Bali. It did not impact on my stay at all.

Shower leaked continuously, bad sewage smell , door handle hanging off , broken toilet seat , electric socket hanging from wall , basic maintenance not being done

The size of the room was very large and comfortable with a great view of the pool and sea.

Would have liked a refrigerator in the room to keep drinks etc.

The staff were friendly, the beach towels were like new, the view from our room was beautiful

Everything in the room was terrible,we had to ask for bath towels, wifi password, We had to ask to have our room clean after 2 days. We stayed in 3 different places while in Amed and this was the most expensive and the worst facilities. The bathroom just had bleach marks everywhere, the toilet seat is old and dirty, the vanity basin tap was nearly falling off, The furniture is very very old. The sheets look like their never been clean And when we got charged they add another 10% to the bill through booking.com I'm sorry but for the price it's ridiculous, never again
