The Vantage Haveli

We had a very comfortable stay. Manish welcomed us warmly and was extremely accommodating with all our requests. He also gave us helpful suggestions for our onward journey. The highlight of our stay was the homely, freshly prepared meals. Dinner was delicious, and the poha served for breakfast was equally tasty. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and pleasant stay.

The hotel is slightly off the main road, and reaching it at night can be a bit confusing. However, this is likely a temporary issue until the roadwork is completed. Additionally, the dining hall is located in the basement, which may be difficult to access for elderly guests. Manish was kind enough to assist my father, who has walking constraints, and even served the meal in his room. His thoughtfulness truly stood out.

family run hotel. Welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Arrived at 1am, tuk tuk arranged to collect me from train station and I was greeted warmly. Food is delicious also. Definitely reccommend.

Manish was very good host, helped us to get a took took to his place, advised us on Rajasthan interesting places and made very good food for us, his location is very interesting for Ranthambore safari as it is very close from a pick up point. The place is very nice and clean and the facilities are good.

It is a bit out of the city if you’re more interested into visiting the city but Manish is very helpful to book took took to get there.

Host was very helpful in arranging Tiger Safari. Though we had already booked, he guided us on how to go about. The location was away from the busy town.It was quite calm.

Manish is a great host and a very kind person. The stay was wonderful, he helped us to book our safari on a short notice (for the next afternoon) and arranged for other travels with a taxi driver. The cooking is exceptional, always freshly made (that is why you need to order a couple hours in advance at least). Totally recommended!!

Shower pressure

Owners were very friendly and kind. 3-4 km from Ranthambore Safari start location. Breakfast was basic and limited. Good for quick in and out overnight stay.

Biggest issue was stains on the supposedly clean sheets. The rooms were cold in January and blankets were insufficient. Small boilers so about one bucket of hot water for shower per person gets the job done.

The most lovely, cheerful and helpful hosts we have experienced in India so far! Manish and his family cared so much about our needs, they offered to buy train tickets, helped with booking a safari, called a taxi driver for us and even drove us to a restaurant and picked us up because they were worried about us being attacked by tigers or panthers. We got a breakfast package at 6am, a freshly cooked and utterly delicious lunch with organic spices and ingredients, a heater for the quite cool room... the list could even continue. And we had very personal and intense talks with the family. The room itself was clean and comfortable, covering the basic needs, no extra stuff you don't need. Cozy bed. :) It's located around 11kms from the Fort (absolute must see!) and 800m from a pick up point for the safaris. Some advice: book Safaris upfront as long as you can, and ask for taking part in zones 1-5 as chances to see a tiger are higher than in 6-10. A government ticket is 4500 rupees, all above that is the fee for the agent. If you come by train, a taxi should be around 200 rupees to the accommodation. No Uber in Sawai Madhopur! The Vantage Haveli is a little hidden: On Mount Valley Resort turn to the left, follow the street and turn to the right on the second occasion (around 500m after leaving the main street) - this path is NOT on Google maps! All in all: An absolute recommendation!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Vantage Haveli ran by Manish and his family. We were politely received and got really good care from the whole family as we had some stomach aches. They offered us water and ORS. The room is spacious and equipped with a smart tv, WiFi and a Airco. The shower was hot and we had running water all the time. We liked the setup where they try to have guests enjoy breakfast and dinner together. This created a nice atmosphere to share stories about traveling and off course tiger spotting. We already booked our tiger tours separately, Manesh could have also booked this for us. Even though he did not help us book the tickets he did help us to arrange pick-up from the roadside by the canter. On our last day we misread our train journeys (probably a result of the stomach aches combined with spotting 5 tigers). So we had to rush out during lunch and Manesh did not hesitate to speed us through traffic to catch our train in time. We would definitely recommend coming to Manesh and his family’s run Haveli to experience their hospitality and support their business. Thank you again Manesh!!

There was not much else around, which is also why it is so quiet at night

Helpful owner, really good organic food cooked fresh, comfortable bed, hot shower, clean and quiet. We stayed here one night before a visit to Ranthambore. Recommend it.
