"A jewel in the crown of India. a luxurious peaceful break."

The villa is beautiful, the renovation amazing, the staff is incomparable and the food delicious. Great swimmming pool, wonderful hosts.

Every thing was spectacular 🙏

Nothing at all .. I fully understand why . But the alcohol restrictions. Particularly for my clients was the only thing that could of made the experience better.. I personally don’t care , but I am a small tour operator hosting Australian clients 🤣

"A definite must do to experience a beautifully restored heritage property in Chettinad"

The asthetics were fabulous and you really felt you were in a beautifully restored heritage property. The food was excellent.

The locks were the old system so it was a bit difficult and the staff could be more efficient. Otherwise a lovely spot and wonderful stay. The owners are delightful people.

The staff were mostly very unfriendly and didn't seem happy. It had a very lonely vibe.

Vernacular Architecture Gems with Contemp Interior, load of village & Myanmar props as one of owner couple are an architect & art collector. Nice design solution to break through original physical constraint. Nice lighting throughout. Best accommodation in Chettinad as compared with others in vicinity. Half-board meal are impressive.

A unique experience. A little corner of paradise in the Chettinadu region.You will experience great attention to detail from the service to the food and the architecture. French design meets Indian craftsmanship to give you something that does not exist elsewhere in the region..If you love art, architecture, reading books over watching television, and peaceful conversations.There is no better place in Chettinadu.

"Nice hotel to experience the Chettinad mansion living"

Nice ambience. Well maintained. Food was nice even with the limited menu.

Location is a bit far from Karaikudi. Not much to see and experience locally. Pricing needs to be competitive.
