Lovely old Chettinad mansion converted to a cozy hotel. The French architect owners are friendly and v. knowledgable about the area and eager to recommend places to go and people to meet.

Recommend going during the day as roads to the location may not be well lit at all times.

I loved absolutely everything about this place. it is so beautiful, the staff are lovely, the food amazing, and the rooms are really comfortable. the pool is great too. my only regret is I didn’t stay longer. the area is so interesting and there is plenty to see.
