What a fabulous place to stay - the hotel is beautiful, the staff are very helpful, the food is truly excellent. The owners of the hotel are on site and interact regularly with their guests. The smaller size of the hotel (10 bedrooms) and the fact the owners are often around and chatting to guests gives the hotel a very welcoming atmosphere. In addition to what you may expect, there is a medium sized swimming pool set in a lovely garden and very good ayurvedic massage on offer. There are also cookery lessons available, though we did not try these. If you are interested in Chettinad Mansions, this is the place to stay. A really wonderful hotel - I highly recommend it & would very much like to stay here again!

Nothing to dislike. We had a wonderful stay :-)

Absolutely fantastic family owned place. Located in a typical Chettinadu palace but renovated to a highest standards. You feel yourself as a maharaja guest. Each room has it’s own design, modern yet authentic. Our room was impeccably clean, I checked the top of the glass bathroom doors and even there were no dust! The food is amazing and different every day (we stayed two nights), the stuff is responsive and nice, the massage was very good too.

I wish we could stay longer!

One of the most beautiful small hotels that I have stayed in for a very long time - painstakingly renovated but still comfortable and inviting. Lovely staff and the nicest dose that we ate during our week-long trip to Tamil Nadu. An added plus are the charming hosts and lovely pool.

The beautiful very stylish , stunning Hotel, the exquisite decoration, the furniture in the room, the very beautiful authentic meals, the beautiful spacious room with very stylish South Indian furniture, the very friendly staff from the very second you step-in, the very beautiful shop, I have a very good Ayurvedic treatment made by a very qualified Ayurvedic masseur from Kerala, our all stay is very memorable, they really make us feel at home, very very stylish hotel with a nice swimming pool where you can have your cocktail.
