MAHALAYA The Legacy Hotel

Comfy bed and beautiful room. The rooftop pool was lovely and the gym was small but well located. Dinner was good and there was a lot of choice at breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Although there isn't much in the immediate vicinity, the batik museum and the palace are a short taxi ride away and were really interesting.

Nothing much - a hairdryer in the room would have been useful.

A gem of a hotel in a great location, walking distance to the Palace & the Pasar right next door is not to be missed. The hotel is superbly appointed - very comfortable with beautiful art & facilities. We could have stayed longer.

I've stayed at this hotel twice when visiting Solo it has a cool Javanese design and comfortable rooms... During my two-night stay here, I always slept well😍

A colonial period restored hotel. In a strategic location. Beautifully restored with great facilities. Breakfast buffet attended by friendly helpful staff. Food of a high standard.

The acoustics in the corridor meant that people talking, laughing, chatting in rhe corridors even late at night was disturbing. Plus, the children's play area at end of corridor created lots of noise with kids screaming, having a good time. This play area should be relocated away from rooms. Plus, some guests totally inconsiderate of others.

Allowed a carefree, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Helpful staff. Generous rooms. Practical location.

Room on the main floor with foot traffic. Higher floors better.
