"A great place to stay to train or bus from Cork to surrounding villages and attractions."

9.0

We liked the location close to the Kent Train Station as we were travelling from Dublin. From the Dean Cork we were able to take a city bus to the Blarney Castle and Kinsale. We also were able to walk to our Ring of Kerry tour bus. We liked having the gym and pool and enjoyed the rooftop restaurant.

The room was on the train track side so it was rather noisy with trains.

"Nice hotel but a little pricey for location and facilities."

6.0

The hotel is quirky and staff were lovely.

The parking was a disaster, both car parks recommended to us were full, we ended up having to park 1km away from the hotel. Also there was no residence bar.

The girl at check in was pleasant

There was building works outaide my window at 7am. In the morning the door wouldnt open and i couldnt get out and someone had to come up. Finally at dinner the previpus night i told the lady (possoble manager) that our water was sparkling and could we get still, she said it was still, i told her we had ttied it, and it was definitely sparkling. She proceeded to get her own glass and try it for herself before she agreed it was indeed still. This was extremely strange and off putting

"Very cool hotel, but reflected in price!"

9.0

Very cool room! Amazing shower and large soft bed!

While in a good location, it is a 10 minute or more walk into the city centre, fine for us but might not suit everyone! Expensive for one night stay!
