HOTEL SHRINGAR PALACE

All the persons at the reception were very helpful. I'd like to thank specially M. Vinay who made two reservations on my behalf, one of them before my arrival. After having tried a room street side, I was moved to a room situated in the middle, much more silent and also much cooler. There are two restaurants on the basement (veg and non veg) and a fruit juice place where one can sit and relax.

If I had stayed more than one night, I would have liked more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, clothes etc It took a long time to get hot water and in fact, after that it was not really warm - but as even in February, the weather is already so hot : not a great inconvenience.

The hotel was strategically placed in a very busy location and accessible to everyone.

I wanted coffee early in the morning, but they said coffee would be available only after 8:15 AM. According to me, that is too late for coffee for an early riser like me. Please make coffee available from 6 AM at least.

The room was spacious and the location of the property is excellent. Railway Station, CBS, and airport are all easily accessible from the hotel. The hotel itself has a good restaurant and there are plenty of other street food options and restaurants around the property.

Well I had requested for a smoking room and I got that. However the view from the balcony was not all that great. The proximity to the railway station is good but be prepared for some good honking by the railway locomotives here in this property

We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, but our allotted room was not ready. The shower in the room was not working, so we were moved to another room that was even more congested than the first. The washroom was not up to standard, and some things inside it were broken. Additionally, the hotel staff was slow to respond to our service requests. is not supportive and the
