Hotel The Grand Chittor, Chittorgarh

The location is fine . My room had a good view of the fort. the restaurant staff were good

The hotel is not as clean as it might be and the hotel needs generally modernising. I found the strict vegetarianism difficult.

The staff both at check in and in the restaurant were a bit disorganised. I had to ask the same waiter three times for some tea at breakfast. No one noticed the jar of peanut butter was more or less empty till I asked if there was any more. The windows in the room and in the restaurant needed to be cleaned. There were building works going on which made it harder to keep things clean and dust free, but they were door between the building works and the windows that needed cleaning. There was a large milkshake machine at the bar but we were told it wasn't working.

The swimming pool closes at 6pm..definitly too early, a pity whrn we arrive at 5.30pm after a long day witg hot weather. Dont plan to leave too early..even if the breakfast is supposed to start at 7.30am, it is not ready before 8am.
