Seliyaa Siwa Inn Hotel

Lovely staff, very homely feel. Sahara desert excursion was 2000 pounds and oasis day trip with fatnis island, cleopatra pool, salt lakes was 2200. We booked it through the hotel which made it comfortable and no hassle and the people were so lovely in siwa and our tour guides too. It made the experience a lot better. Siwan people are very kind and honest. The inn is very big, we got a room upgrade too, which was very nice. They have lovely decoration like hammock, and swings with big lovely garden. The room was a bit dated but it was big and nice and for a rural area was very nice. Overall I would recommend and it is worth staying here.

There are power outages sometimes but that’s throughout all of siwa. It is a rural area which we didn’t really expect but it was beautiful and very worth coming to see. The place is not in the main centre but it’s a 80-100 Egyptian pound tuk tuk away. Be careful about walking alone through the rural areas as there are loose dogs that run at you.

The host was not very responsive (offering only overpriced taxi service and extra fee for AC), there was a cockroach in the room. On both nights the electricity went out as the region was affected by power outages – which is outside of the control of the owners, of course but usually hotels have Electricity backup.

Lits très confortable dans les bungalows et le personnel très sympathique, accueillant et toujours disponible. Nous avons pu faire le check in dès le matin même si c'était prévu normalement pour le début d'après-midi. Aussi, nous avons pu rester plus longtemps dans l'hébergement que ce qui était indiqué, ce qui est très arrangeant de leur part.

Les douches communes étaient assez vétustes mais elles étaient régulièrement nettoyés donc ça allait. Petit déjeuner égyptien assez simple.

Heavenly stay in the heat of Siwa Oasis! The staff is so welcoming and helpful, they made my mum and I feel so welcomed! Shakshuka (eggs with vegetables) is not to be missed for breakfast. The rooms are equipped with pillows, soft blankets, hot water, fridge, TV, and a spacious closet. A huge thank you to the owner (Amr) and the amazing team: Mohamed, Ahmed, Shaaban, and Hussein. I can’t wait to be back. Bonus: they have camels, dogs and cats around the property if you love animals, this is your spot :)
