Pestana Alvor South Beach Premium Suite Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to the beach. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice. There was a small issue with our room that was sorted out really efficiently by Daniella & Maria on reception. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay! Everything was lovely and staff so friendly and helpful!

The location of the hotel is perfect, direct access to the beach and a lovely boardwalk into town. The hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast has a great choice for everyone. All staff friendly and attentive. There are a couple of aspects that do let it down though, the pool area and the gym. The sunbeds are very random, as in there will be 12 say in one area and just 2 in an equal size space opposite so you’re either crammed like sardines or there’s no one round you. Just my personal opinion but more effort could be put into the pool area and how it is presented. On a positive most sunbeds are brand new so the broken sunbeds from last tear have been replaced. The only other thing I’d mention is the gym it is in the basement and for the size of the hotel is tiny, surely there is somewhere more appropriate and pleasant to put it as it’s very remote and not particularly welcoming. Overall we did have a fantastic holiday though and would book this hotel again.

My stay at Pestana Alvor South Beach was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The atmosphere was calm yet vibrant, with a beautiful connection between the hotel and the surrounding beach. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. Waking up to the soft light and knowing the ocean was just steps away made each day feel special. What I loved most was the overall feeling of being taken care of without it ever feeling forced. The space, the service, and the location all came together perfectly, creating a stay that felt both peaceful and memorable. I would gladly return and experience it all over again.
