Great location up on the hills looking over the valley. Every thing was great at this place Nice and quite and a good sized balcony for breakfast and afternoon beers Room to park your tuk tuk and not to far from the madness of Ella if you want to partake

This was honestly the best service I’ve experienced. The host family were so friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything we needed to know about Ella. One of the highlights was the incredible view. Watching the train pass through the hills was absolutely magical. Even after we checked out, the host kindly called us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ella!

Lovely friendly family , Son and Father . Provided everything we asked for extra water , laundry and insect repellent. Arranged all our transport and site seeing for us. Friendly people, nothing was too big of an ask. Rooms are in the middle of nature like being in a treehouse. Surrounded by avocado and jackfruit trees.

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at Okeed and really enjoyed the mountain view from the balcony. The breakfast being served was more than enough. The owner family is super friendly and organized a tuck tuck for us to the train station. We also rented a scooter from them for 2 days.

Nothing for the accommodation itself. It is located out of town, up a high windy hill. You cannot just walk up and down it. Tuk tuks will try and charge over 1000 rupees a trip . It should be around 700. So use the guest house taxi recommendation. You can also catch a bus from the road outside if you know where to get on!

Great view and great terrace, very friendly en helpful owners, breakfast with fresh fruits, egg and Sri Lankan specialties, good startingpoint to hike to Ella Rock. Quiet place. Overall reasonable clean. Good price.

Shower not always hot, a bit far from Ella town ( one hour walking, but of course you can arrange a tuktuk or taxi) and carpet not very clean.

Beautiful family homestay with the privacy of a hotel room. Amazing private balcony views. The rooms are clean and the shower is hot. Breakfast is being brought up to your balcony and was plenty. The host picked us up from the station and took time to explain the surrounding area and was just really helpful all round, spoke perfect English. We felt very welcome.

It is a little further from the centre but you get an amazing view in return. Possibilty to rent a well maintained (Moto)scooter. The calmness, view and monkeys around the property are well worth the extra distance.
