location a bit far from town. Good to walk down into town and tuk tuk back. Lack of privacy as you share balcony and owner comes up stairs directly onto the balcony

You will need a taxi to get into the town. It is on a steep hill (so the view is great) but not easy to walk around particularly when it is dark

Room and hospitality was so good. Had a great time staying there. The host was warm, welcome, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was very kind to pack us breakfast at 5 am, when we told him that we would checkout early. Highly recommend!

Excellent place in a great location. Spacious room with a balcony that had a view of the mountains, and the owner was super welcoming.

Lovely sight on the valley, you can see the train from here. Huge breakfast. Lovely family. Keep your terras door shut because of the monkeys (not aggressive) From time to time the grandfather hunts them with a catapult....

We will keep stay in this hotel in our memories for a long time! Very lovely staff, beautiful mountain views, closeness of wild animals, clean room, good working WiFi whats not very common in Sri Lanka. The place has only 2 rooms so it's very chamber what we really appreciate.

This place is awesome. Away from the mass tourism, quiet amd peaceful. I loved my stay there amd am happy that I found that place. The family is super nice and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The view is spectacular. Breakfast is freshly prepared in the mornings and a really nice start in the day. The way there is like 10 scooter minute up the hill (from main tourist road of Ella).

Some things can be disturbing as you hear your neighbors when they are talking as the walls seem to be very thin. Sometimes privacy on the balcony isn’t given as the balconies are connected and everything there can appear somebody on the balcony“your“ balcony somehow. Wifi isn’t usable as it’s very slow. But still that is definitely a 10/10 and I will come back when I am around Ella. Thank you very much!!!!

Perfect accommodation for a stay in Ella. Upul is super friendly and helped us organizing everything we needed with ease for fair prices. Breakfast on the balcony was breathtaking and we couldn’t have wished for anything better.
