Romantik Hotel Köllners Landhaus

Just a ten minute drive into Celle, the pastoral setting of this hotel is at once restful and elegant. Delightful gardens, footpaths everywhere, birds singing, no traffic noise and plush, elegant, modern rooms. The luxurious down comforters and pillows enveloped us. Linens all replaced daily. The wonderful (indeed, spectacular) restaurant wowed us two nights in a row. We sat out on the deck of the restaurant under an umbrella as the sun set over manicured lawns and gardens and ponds fit for a duke or king. We both agreed that the dining experience here was a the best we had in all of Europe. Everything about the hotel is SUPURB. No coffee service in the room - instead at our request there was a full coffee service waiting for us at the front desk at our requested 6:15 a.m. all three mornings to take up to our room.
