Spacious room with balcony , the gym and pool services provided. Very nice breakfast. The restaurant is really good

Lighting was nit the best, absence of a bed-side lamp? Seemed the room was still being renovated and unfinished.

for 2 persons, they just provide 1 blanket and 2 pillows, after they clean up no tissue in the toilet, no cup for coffee and water they provide good for one person.been in baku 4 times but it's my first that im not happy for the hotel.

Lack of communication skills of most staff; No house phones working; Checking in process too long for long travelled people, Completely surprised they did not check passport or any identification at the time of checkin; Demanded full payment for entire stay at one go; In house restaurant demanded cash payment for dinners instead of signing vouchers for in house guests. Claimed they are different entities despite all logos in restaurant being of Hotel and only entrance from within the hotel reception and not outside, Undesuirable characters in the reception Trying for forex at high rates and being intimidating upon refusal

Arion is a decent hotel, good for a couple of nights stay, though its a little away from the city center but getting around in Baku using Bolt app is very convenient. Rooms are ok, though not very big. Basic amenities have been taken care of.

It is though a bit expensive for the facilities it offers. I had booked it half the price through Expedia, but hotel cancelled the booking without assigning any reason and then I had to book it again, this time through Booking.com at twice the price - 175 AZN for a night for 2 people , with breakfast. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The spread was small and the staff did not replenish the dishes that were getting exhausted.
